About Us
William Skinner (see picture) began fruit growing in 1947 when he bought his first farm at Chart Sutton. Paul, John and Peter Skinner are his three sons who have grown up on the family fruit farm and have been learning all the processes of fruit husbandry over the last 40 years.
When they were young the machine they used for orchard clearance was a Grey Ferguson 35 with a foreloader and fork.
Fast forward to today and the machinery has got much larger and more sophisticated but the principles are still the same. The job has to be done quickly and efficiently with minimal ground disturbance.
Nowadays everyone is more cost conscious than ever and so we have invested in the best machinery so that we can complete all tasks in the most efficient way possible.

W.H. Skinner & Sons are based in Chart Sutton. We serve Mid-Kent and the Weald Of Kent (See Map Below). This list of villages is not exhaustive.
